Apple CarPlay will not launch in Envision after plugging in the USB cable if your iPhone is locked and you havenāt allowed access in the settings. My phone(s) are not connected to Bluetooth through my device and literally both phones I use regularly work on any other vehicle for Apple Car Play. (I use rental cars frequently.) Has anyone had issues and have a work around. The USB port will connect, charge, and play music from my phone but does not read the device to transition to Car Play.
456 posts Ā· Joined 2016. #2 Ā· Feb 1, 2016. I'm not 100% sure about the F-Pace itself but I do know Jaguar is on Apple's list of Car Manufacturers who support Apple Car Play. Unfortunately the F-Pace or XE isn't listed on the models page but that could be because the car is so new and this apple page could be outdated.
